MY MOTHER & I WERE NEVER EVER CLOSE– & I WAS CERTAINLY NOT HER FAVORITE CHILD!!!!! 🙂
MY MOTHER SUPPORTED THE AVON LADY SHE WORE EVERYTHING SCENTED– NOT JUST PERFUME BUT EVERYTHING-BODY LOTION–HAND LOTION–EVERY THING– SCENTED– & TONS OF IT!!! THEN SHE USED TIDE & BOUNCE– & SNUGGLES– & YOU NAME IT SHE USED THAT & MORE IN THE LAUNDRY– SHE WORE SCENTED HAIR SPRAY–& EVERYTHING SCENTED YOU CAN NAME AND HER HOME HAD AIR FRESHENERS & SCENTED CANDLES– & ON & ON & ON & ON– AND IF I WAS GOING TO BE WITH MY MOTHER THAT DAY– SHE PUT ON EXTRA STINKING TOXIC SCENTS– BECAUSE SHE KNEW IT MADE ME SICK– & SHE LAUGHED ABOUT IT!! IT MADE IT VERY VERY VERY HARD TO CARE FOR HER– EVEN WHEN I PROMISED MY DAD WHEN HE WAS DYEING– I WOULD TRY MY BEST— & I DID!!! MY MOTHER THOUGHT– & ALSO MOST ALL OF MY RELATIVES THINK MY ILLNESS IS A JOKE & LAUGH & TALK BEHIND MY BACK & JOKE ABOUT ME– ALL I CAN SAY IS KARMA IS A BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
I asked my mom for the ultimate act of love this week. I asked her tell about her journey having a daughter who is disabled with MCS. Mom asked me for questions for her to answer. These are her words:
1. What did you first think when I told you I was disabled with MCS and you would have to eliminate all toxic chemicals from your life if you wanted to physically see me?
I thought, God. How do we do that — chemicals are everywhere? How bad is this going to get for my poor daughter? And of course, I thought about myself also.
